Album Unboxing #12: "Love Yourself: Tear" by BTS (Y, O, U, R Versions)

Hello, everybody! Today I have another album unboxing for you guys! How surprising. BUT. At least this one will be a bit longer of a post. I don't know what self control is so I bought four versions of the same album because that's all that I know how to do, buy all versions of things and not regret anything.

ANYWAY, Let's get this album unboxing started because oh, boy, there's kind of a lot.

So this is the quick overview of the four albums I pre-ordered from Choice Music LA! I've never ordered anything from them in the past but I've always heard fabulous reviews about their service and fast shipping for albums so I decided to pre-ordered my albums through them. And I'm so happy with how quickly I received my albums! As a small sneak peek, I also pre-ordered two more albums from them since receiving these babies in the mail so that unboxing will be coming up soon!

So first we'll be starting off with the 'Y' version of BTS's new album, "Love Yourself: Tear"! I'm so excited about this album, y'all, you have no idea. I freaking loved the first installment of this album series so this one I was so excited for. Anyhoo, let's jump right in.

I received a photocard of my bias for this version *cries in 10 languages* so that was a good start.

I'm not sure what each photo concept for each version is called but this concept is very pleasing to eye. I love the selected saturated colors that this photo concept had and how pretty the sunset scenes were. It was really relaxing so I'm a fan of it. Also, can we talk about that group photo? Like, yes, friendship goals.

Now onto the next version! This one is the 'O' version and yes, the designs look similar but it's different, OKAY. Anyway, this is the photocard I got with this version of the album and it makes me so happy to slowly see my photocard collection of BTS growing bit by bit. 

This photo concept is probably my favorite? Maybe? I personally just love black and white photos so this concept was right up my alley. Plus, the pops of colors from the colored photos sprinkled throughout was a nice touch. 

And once again, that group photo though. LIKE, UM YES.

Now, we have the third version of this album, the 'U' version. Okay, so, this is the photocard and though it's not of my bias wrecker . . . I was SO HAPPY. It's so pretty, oh my goodness, I could stare at it for hours.

ANYWAY, this concept is of actual angels. You cannot convince me otherwise, THEY LOOK SO PRETTY *cries in corner*. Now this photobook I looked it very closely and methodically. Took my time, stared lovingly. Okay moving on.

Now, the final fourth version of the album, the 'R' version. Can we just talk about this photocard as well? It's so cute, I can't!

Okay, this photo concept is for sure one of my favorites. Maybe even my top one. Now this one I also took my time looking through, mainly of my bias but that's not the point. I looked through all of them just as lovingly . . . I just took a little more time looking through the photos of my bias. That's all I'm saying. 

Also, this group photo. I know I keep saying that but this one. OMG. Why so pretty?

And now for some of the freebies I received from Choice Music LA! I'm assuming this was a gift for having pre-ordered the albums through them and I was pleasantly surprised! I got these lovely four postcard size photo cards and I LOVE THEM! The paper is cardstock and it has such a nice rough texture to it, I just love them and am so happy that they're a part of my collection now!

And lastly, there are these freebie photo cards I got as well! They're just a tiny bit smaller than the photocards I got with the albums but they're made of the same cardstock paper which is lovely. Each photocard is from one of the different concepts so that was also nice, very nice!

I also got these really cool standing photo cards with each album! I don't exactly need four of them but I mean, if I lose one or damage one, I have back-ups right?

Lastly, here are the posters from each album concept! I wasn't really sure if all the posters I received were gonna be different or the same but I'm happy I got all four. Not that I hang my posters, goodness knows I have so many already, but they're nice to have I guess!

Album Unboxing #7: "Dark and Wild" by BTS

Hello, again, my lovely readers! I hope you're not getting tired of all these unboxings quite yet because I'm here with another one! I'm seriously having so much fun unboxing all the things so I'm LIVING FOR IT. I'm also busy thinking of new post ideas that I just need to actually figure out when to post and how to go about writing it so hopefully some of you will find it interesting in the upcoming weeks.

Anyway, let's get started already with the unboxing before I put you all to sleep with my ramblings. I just like talking to you guys, okay? Y'all make me one happy blogger! Okay, let's dive in.

Okay, so I've been wanting this album for such a long time since it has so many of my favorite songs from BTS and I honestly don't know why it took me so long to finally buy this album. Life? Unwise choices? Forgetting how much I wanted it and was practically dying for it? I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE. What's important is that I finally have it, okay?

I swear the BTS albums have THE COOLEST packaging ever! When I first got this album in the mail, I thought it was so mysterious and cool and kind of looked like something out of a spy movie, that's just me.

I honestly loved how this album opens up, it was like a little gift box; a scary, dark, suspicious looking gift box. Not to mention the album booklet is EVERYTHING. Just LOOK AT IT.

After lifting the little booklet from the inside of the box it reveals the CD and a couple of little photocards! I decided to take more than one picture of the inside of the album since the photocards were actually covering up the writing in the top right corner but I didn't want to have too few pictures for this post. Since not a lot came in this album, I took as many interesting pictures as possible, which isn't hard to do since it's a BTS album after all, it's already interesting in every aspect if you ask me.

And here are a couple of close up shots of the photcards. I was so happy when I got this adorable little group picture of the members because THEY WERE JUST BABIES, I'M CRYING!

I also got a single photocard of one of the members which I was super happy about, though I was hoping to get a photocard of one of the members that I don't yet have. I have single photocards of three or four of the members but I hope to one day have one of each member. Great goals I have in life, am I right?

Album Unboxing #3: "Love Yourself 承 'Her'" - BTS

Welp, I failed as a blogger.

HELLO, EVERYBODY! Yes, I've only posted TWICE this month and neither of them have been book reviews. YES, I am still alive but struggling to feel human. YES, I have failed you all *cries in dark hole*.

I do really mean it when I say I'm going to be more active on my blog and continue trying my hardest to post more often, however, this month has been exhausting, to say the least, so please be patient with me! It seriously means the world.

Now that my apologies are out of the way, let's focus on the actual point of this post: THE ALBUM. You have no idea how excited I am for this post, like seriously, I'm legit dying.

Okay, so, I'm DEAD excited for this album OMG. You've got no IDEA. I've been waiting for this album for about a month since I pre-ordered it before there was even a cover art. I was basically sold a promise and I was like "TAKE ALL MY MONEY!!".

Anyhoo, the album finally came (!!!!!!!) and I'm so excited to unbox it for you guys! Even though I've already opened up everything and already know what it came with and, well, it's all opened by this point because there are pictures of everything . . . you get the point.

Let's move on.

So first up, can we just talk about the cover? LIKE SO MUCH PRETTY. I love me some simple covers for albums and books, it's just very satisfying and I find it so pretty in all its simplicity. Anyhoo, the little letters and the flower is engraved with holographic amazingness and it makes me so happy. I love holographic anything so there's that.

It's also on the CD itself and it looks so pretty, I'M DYING.


The album also came with a little sheet of stickers which I plan on making into a phone case and by the time this post is being written, I'll have already made the phone case and I'll probably be taking a picture of it and posting it to my Instagram so follow me there if you're curious as to how it turned out.

It also came with that little book thing that I have no idea what it is since I don't know the language, BUT I'm sure it's interesting.

It also came with a poster so I'll be showing that later in this post so stay tuned and keep reading.





The album also came with photo cards, as always, and like always, they're currently sitting on my shelf with the rest of the thousand photocards I've gotten from other albums because I have NO IDEA what to do with them. Yay.

These are also double sided . . . like YES, THANK YOU.






This album also came with a "free gift" which I assumed was another photocard, which it was, so yay me for being psychic. I love getting little free gifts even if I know what they're going to be.

I probably shouldn't hope for extra photo cards since my collection is too big already and just wasting away in a dark little corner, but you know, whatevs.

And finally, the big finale, THE POSTER. Just like the photo cards, I have too many posters already but they're all safely kept in a box on my bookshelf. I'm so weird with posters, luckily one of my best friends related to me and I no longer felt alone in the world.

Anyhoo, I still love having posters of my favorite groups and bands even if I don't actually hang them up on my wall. Maybe one day I'll get over my weirdness . . . but let's be real, that's never gonna happen. MOVING ON.

So that's pretty much it for this album unboxing! I'm pretty much obsessed with every single song on this album, it's a little bit concerning. Like seriously, the first track gives me LIFE.

And, apparently, there are two bonus tracks to the album that are only on the physical album so that made me feel a little special when I found that out. Like, yay me, value the little things.

No idea at all when the next album unboxing will be, probably either at the end of the month or even in November, but we'll see. There are plenty of albums I plan on ordering so I guess stay tuned?

Song Of The Week #3

Hello, everybody! I really hope you're all enjoying your week so far! Before I share with you all the song of the week, I just want to say a few words first about some upcoming posts and announcements that I can't wait to unveil to all of you!

First off, I wanted to know if you guys might be interested in posts about my everyday life such as life updates, maybe a-day-in-a-life post every now and then as a weekly thing or if you want to see more book tags or Q&A posts. Please let me know because I want to get to know my readers a little more and I would love for you guys to get to know me a little more. I love to connect with my fellow book lovers and little things like this new segment are allowing me to be able to do just that I think. 

Second, I'm so excited to announce a couple of things within the next couple of weeks and I CAN'T WAIT to let you all know what I've been working on behind the scenes. Let's just say there's a reason I haven't been as active on my blog as I usually am. I've been busy gearing up for something big and I hope you guys are excited. Stay tuned!
