Review:
PROS:
1. As I said above, I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review as part of this blog tour for the book. I jumped at the chance to review this book since it sounded so intriguing and like something I thought I might really enjoy. I love a good mystery and add in the fact that there was a masked criminal and stolen identities and I was hooked. I'm so excited to review this book for you guys so let's get started!

2. I can't stop thinking about the characters. I just loved them so darn much! I thought our main character Kyle was very calculated and even though could sometimes get cocky, he was still a very smart young man who thought things through and didn't like jumping to conclusions without any sort of evidence. He was a very clever boy and didn't hesitate to try to clear his name when he was suspected of being the million-dollar-thief. The other characters around Kyle did a great job of being very supporting characters to the story, blurring the lines of who was to trust and who to suspect without being obvious. It was like a game of poker, everyone had a hand and one heck of a poker face that made it difficult for both Kyle and you as the reader to figure out what was really going on with the characters and if they were allies or enemies.

3. From the very first page, I was hooked. And I'm not just saying that. From the very beginning, I was so interested in who Zero really was and why poor Kyle seemed to be his target. While following the story, it was very hard to try to figure out what was going to happen next because there were twists and turns around every corner and new people to suspect and others to be wary of. It was a gripping read that kept me dedicated to the story and the characters because I so badly wanted to know what was going on and what Zero had planned all along and who he was. I was rooting for the characters the entire book, even siding with Zero a few times because I just loved all the characters so much!

4. It was wonderfully written with great storytelling and like I said before, very gripping and exciting to keep up with. I'm not lying when I say I lost sleep while reading late into the night because I just didn't want to put it down quite yet. The story is shrouded in mystery with suspense and adventure and even more secrets every other page. Just when you think you might have figured something out, something else pops up that only leaves you with more questions than answers.

This mystery novel is one I would totally recommend to anyone out there who loves a good thrilling tale about thieves, mistaken identity, more questions than answers, twists and turns and an overall question of who is Zero. The story wrapped up beautifully, though made me sad knowing the story was over. There were some shocking plot twists and even more information as to who Zero could be and what his game might be that will definitely keep you anticipating the last page.

Had to fake it till I made it
And you try to break it
Now you try to take it back
But you know that
I've been doing my thing
I've been running my game
And you know I won't look back

I'll play the victim
'Cause you planned it out

Just surrender now

Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out
I call your name but you're not around
I say your name but you're not around

Where are you now?
Was it all in my fantasy?
Where are you now?
Were you only imaginary?
Where are you now?

You got what you wanted
Didn't you?
Don't know where your heart is
But mine's bruised
You knew when you started
That I'd lose
The blood on the carpet
Is not you

  1. Don't Let Me Down and Faded are both songs I really enjoy so I was happy to see them included in the playlist! Oh, and this sounds like one good mystery novel where Kyle does a brilliant job in being clever and calculated throughout as well. Great review!
